CPAGS Student Leadership and Advocacy Conference (SLAC)

SLAC introduces students to the importance of having psychologists involved in advocacy, the many roles of a psychologist in systemic and social advocacy, and avenues for becoming leaders in the field and role models for others. SLAC also offers networking and training opportunities.

This is a great opportunity to learn how to make a positive impact on a societal and systemic level as a psychologist-in-training and as a psychologist in the future, how to incorporate advocacy into your work as psychologist, to connect with like-minded students and professionals, to learn about new opportunities for involvement in the psychological community, or just to participate in a fascinating conference focused on reducing systemic and social discrimination. There will be ample opportunities to network with students and professionals, including a happy hour social immediately following the conference. Please, please, please join us for this incredible day; you will be happy that you did!

Subscribe to the CPAGS listserv for updates on the event. For non-members, consider joining CPAGS before registering for the event. The fee to this event will be lowered and you will become eligible to apply for travel reimbursement!
